It’s about that time to publish another featured collection, one that I’m particularly excited about! This brand new, never seen before series is titled, “The Underground.”

On my mini vacation to South Dakota, I was fortunate enough to take a tour through a winding maze of stalagmites and stalactites, deep underground. In my (probably bias) opinion, the results were amazing!

With scattered, dimly lit lights, the caves natural beauty sprung to life. Most of the images I couldn’t bring myself to do any adjusting or adding of filters. The simple, organic beauty of the unedited images were too breathtaking.

Visit my websites “Featured” page to view all the images from “The Underground!”

Getting Ready for a Photo Session in 2015.

February 9, 2015

Finally! The weather is warming up, and folks are starting to think about getting family portraits done. [For photographers this means, “The busy season is starting!”]

Today’s post is definitely a catch all, because it’s geared, not only towards photographers, but clients of photographers, as well. It’s all about making life just a little easier, so whenever I come across fantastic tips and advice, I love to pass it on.

I ran across this incredible source to help prepare families for their photo shoot, and for photographers to pass along to their clients. It’s a one stop shop to find color ideas, clothing combinations, AND actually get links to the items. WOWZA, Talk about easy!

The Website

Photographers, this is a fantastic source to give your clients the moment they schedule their appointment! And clients, get organized and start thinking about it immediately. It will take the “hair-pulling stress” out of getting an entire family, or a busy couple ready for their shoot.

Oh, and did I mention, IT’S FREE!? There is an option to sign up and join at different membership rates, however, viewing the clothing boards and getting links are free! Even add backgrounds to the clothing items to see what colors will look best in different settings. It’s that easy.

Visit the website at: http://www.fashionablefamilyphotos.com. Browse how it works, and take a look at their website blog for additional tips on their service\product.
